Ending the summer well! The last few days, Karama Organization has organized a special summer camp for the kids between 6 and 12 years old. Sunny days and inspiring activities, to build a young generation of kind leaders for Palestine and our planet.
The camp includes many recreational, educational and community service activities. Where the participants cleaned and civilized the Memorial Garden for the martyrs of Deheishe Camp and discussed different ways we should care for the environment (like not throwing rubbish on the ground). The children also enjoyed a day out in Suleiman’s Pool in al Khader and visited the Natural History Museam which is an interesting sight for all the children to learn about animals and their unique characteristics. The program also includes many hands-on activities and learning through play. It also includes visits to government service units such as the Civil Defense Station to learn about the duties of the firefighters and learn how to avoid hazards such as fires through live drills at the Civil Defense Headquarters.
It is mentioned that the camp includes entertainment elements during the program such as visiting the Ain Al-Hawiya resort and visiting cultural centers in Batir and other places in the governorate.
