We welcome anybody who wants to learn more about Palestine and open our doors for visitors who want to stay for a few hours, days, or weeks in our community. Are you interested to see a Palestinian refugee camp for yourself – we will gladly walk you around. Do you want to understand the political dynamics better – we can take you on different tours to unique places in Palestine. Want to really dig deep into the social, cultural, and political aspects of Palestine (oh, and don’t forget the kitchen!)? – we can set up any program that meets your requests!
While COVID19 has had an immense impact on global travel, we were sad to receive limited visitors in the last 2 years. However, Karama is opening its doors again this year and we are ready to meet you soon.
Please note that Karama Organization is not able to assist with your visa application, but most people will be able to receive a three-month tourist visa upon arrival at the airport or border with Jordan. If you have any concerns about your travel to Palestine, feel free to reach out and we will assist you to our best capabilities.
Our main office and community centre are based in Deheishe camp, a short 10-minute drive from Bethlehem centre, and around 20 minutes from the main bus stop in Bethlehem as well as checkpoint 300. Our office is a short 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the camp. We are eager to meet you and you are welcome to call us if you need any support while travelling.
