Being locked in die-hard battles against Hizbullah resistance fighters did not prevent Israeli occupation forces from killing fifteen Palestinians, including a child, in two air raids on the east of Gaza City on Wednesday, July 26 2006.
Six Palestinians, including a three-year-old girl, were killed in a single Israeli strike on a group of Palestinians in eastern Gaza City.

The five Palestinians died when Israeli shells hit their house in Gaza City's Shijia district on Friday morning, medics and Hamas members said.
The Israeli attack killed the Hamas fighter and four of his relatives, including his mother and two of her grandchildren.
The deaths came only hours after Israeli tanks and troops pulled out of central Gaza.
Their withdrawal from the area ended a three-day raid which has caused the death of 15 Palestinian fighters and civilians.

The children, their parents and everybody were sleeping in their houses, in the middle of the night when the Israeli F16s bombed a house in the middle of Gaza City, in Al Shiekh Radwan village, killing 23 Palestinians and injuring 60.
