Letter exchange project

In our letter project Swedish and British children exchanged letters and shared their stories with our children from Deheishe. This project was set up to improve the English language skills of the Karama children as well as to enable them to communicate with children from outside Palestine. As Palestinians don't have the opportunity to travel due to the severe restrictions on the freedom of movement caused by the occupation, we try to bring the world to us! The letter exchange project was part of this aim to provide our children with the opportunity to get in touch with others cultures and to exchange experiences about the Palestinian life.

Below you can read some of the letters the Swedish and British children wrote.
