Karama ProfilesKarama Member Profile Osama Abu Yahes
Osama Abu Yahes has been with Karama for four years, attending the sponsored trip to Denmark in 2007 and setting up the Karama library. He was born in the Deheishe Camp 18 years ago, and is early into his education at Al Quds University in Jerusalem where he studies biology. Currently in a position as organizator of Karama's activities, his longterm goals include a professorship this year. |

Volunteer Member Profile Yasmine B.
Yasmine B. is 20 years old and joined us from the UK. She has algerian descent so it was easy for her to refresh her language and get in touch with the families quickly. In Karama she gave English lessons for different levels and helped out in the administration to write proposals. Unfortunately, her studies in Human Biology start next week again, so she had to leave Karama yesterday. We hope she enjoyed her time and will take a lot ot good memories back to the UK. |
